When watering crops with drip irrigation pipes, if the water quality is poor and the water contains sharp objects such as gravel and glass, it is easy to scratch the outer wall of the drip irrigation pipe, and the outer wall is damaged, which will not only reduce the efficiency of drip irrigation, prolong the operation of the drip pipe, but also shorten the equipment. Therefore, we need to repair the damaged outer wall in time. Our commonly used repair methods are as follows:
1. If the drip irrigation pipe has broken pipe walls or holes within 0.1 meters in length, use a scraper to remove all the broken pipe walls or holes, and use cyclohexanone to clean up the surrounding area of the removed part, and brush with a plastic adhesive with better water resistance. Then take out an arc-shaped plate with twice the damaged area from the same part of the pipe, coat the inner wall with adhesive, stick it on the damaged part, and fix it with lead wire.
2. If there is a local or relatively small crack, you can first remove the water in the tube, clean the damaged part with cotton yarn, and then brush the base surface with cyclohexanone, then apply a plastic adhesive with better water resistance. Take out a board with a similar shape and size from the corresponding part of the unused pipeline for bonding, then fix it with a geotextile, and cure for 24 hours.
When we use the drip irrigation pipe, if we find that the outer wall is damaged, we can choose the corresponding repair measures according to its damage status. In addition, we should also pay attention to the use of the drip irrigation pipe. When cracks or damage are found, it should be repaired in time, so as to prolong its service life.
